Financial support is available to residents who wish to participate in Town-operated recreational programs and activities but who have financial challenges. To qualify, family units must meet specified income guidelines.
Pending available funding, this program offers subsidy intended to make recreation more affordable for local residents. It relies on funding from grants & donations. Many thanks to the Foothills Salvage and Recycling Society for their generous contributions. A free 1-year membership to the Okotoks Public Library is available to fee assistance recipients.
The program covers Okotoks Recreation Centre facility admission passes (*conditions apply), as well as registered programs (including cultural, certifications, arts, fitness, personal development, and day camps) offered through the Town Community Program Guide.
Up to $200 per year in subsidy is available to each eligible person.
The subsidy can be applied to reduce the cost of programs by 80%Children ages 3-18, adults and seniors are eligible if family units meet income guidelines
