Proclamations declaring special days, weeks or months for community-based campaigns or programs requested by registered, non-profit societies are often granted by the Mayor and Council. As Requests for Proclamations are provided to Council for consideration at their regular meetings, requests must be received by Legislative Services 5 days prior to a Council meeting in order to be placed on the agenda for that meeting.
