Town launches public participation strategy survey
Okotoks residents are invited to share their preferences on how to augment conversation and dialogue in municipal decisions. The feedback collected is essential in assisting the Town, and engagement firm MODUS, to develop a comprehensive Public Participation strategy and toolkit.
The Town has launched a survey as part of the Public Participation Strategy project to gather feedback from residents and stakeholders on how they would like to be involved in town-focused conversations.
The online survey, available from June 9-July 9, is at: okotoks.ca/publicparticipation
Paper copies are available at the Municipal Centre reception area. There is also an opportunity to take the survey at the Operations Centre grand opening event this Saturday, June 10.
The Public Participation Strategy project is the first step in determining how the Town can draw in more voices, providing Council and staff with valuable input to consider in final directives and in ensuring effective service delivery.
