The Parks team provides professional care of parks, pathways, playgrounds, outdoor recreation facilities, natural spaces, and trees. Parks also provides information on parks and natural areas stewardship, vegetation management and urban forests.
Why doesn't the Town string trim the back of my fence?
Residential fence, initially installed by the developer, is placed approximately 4 inches (10cm) within the private property boundary. Residents are responsible for maintaining landscaping up to their property line (which includes both sides of the fence). Should a resident not have access to the back of their fence (no rear yard gate), then the Town will string trim it.
