The Town of Okotoks now has eight electrical vehicle (EV) charging stations available for public use.
Two EV chargers are located on Elizabeth Street directly in front of the Okotoks Municipal Centre (5 Elizabeth Street). One charger is exclusively for Tesla vehicles, and the other is a universal charger. The chargers were donated to the Town by Sun Country Highway as part of their Municipal Destination Program.
Municipal Centre EV Charger Details:
- Charger 1: Sun Country Highway EV-60 - 48 Amp
- Charger 2: Tesla - 80 Amp

Operations Centre EV Charger Details:
- 20 Amp Max - Requires charging cord
- 5 outlets available
Location: 1118 North Railway St - In east and west parking areas
Southridge Emergency Services Building EV Charger Details:
- 15 Amp Max - Requires charging cord
- 2 outlets available
Location: 98 Woodhaven Dr on the west side of the building
These EV Chargers are free and available to the public 24 hours a day (note: chargers are not reservable).
Best Western Plus Okotoks Inn and Suites
- Charger 1: Sun Country Highway EV 40 - 32 Amp
- Charger 2: Tesla - 40 Amp

Westmount School - Available to school visitors at all times OR to the public in an emergency
- 20 Amp Max - Requires charging cord
- 2 outlets available
Location: 240 Westland St
Meadow Ridge School - Available to school visitors at all times OR to the public in an emergency
